MBFWA 2016 - Day 2 & 3 Looks

I kicked off my Mercedes Benz Fashion Week on Monday the 16th with a trip to Sunglass hut for a quick shoot and an interview! They've been so lovely enough to supply a new pair of sunglasses each day. I'll be sharing some fun new work with them soon.

Monday evening I attended Zhivago (full write up here). I arrived wearing the Alex Perry Chloe dress and YSL cross body bag from Guilty Luxury in Perth. I adore the shoulder pads and the insane length of the long sleeves, Zhivago's previous collection included a range of shoulder pads - I felt like it was a reasonably good excuse to wear this piece!

Most of Tuesday was spent in this pretty piece by Steele. As soon as I saw the new collection I had to have it. The sleeves are my favourite detail, double flares! It's a super sweet piece with a little reminiscing to 90's elastic in the top part of the skirt. Absolutely loved wearing this and I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot this Autumn. I loved pairing it with black pieces but white would look gorgeous to match the detailing in the pattern.

We visited La Porte Space on Tuesday afternoon to view the Janna Jones luxury goods collection Artisan. Janna is originally from Perth so of course I wanted to pop in and support another Perth girl! Janna's designs are inspired by European luxury bags found in Milan, but with an Australian twist - creating pieces that are useful for every day, and easily styled with what is already in an Australian wardrobe.
