How to Grow Long Eyelashes

How to grow eyelashes is a question I've asked myself since forever! I've finally discovered a solution that actually worked for me, I still can't believe it grew my eyelashes.

I almost didn't write this post but I have been so shocked by this product that I couldn't keep it a secret!

I was at Thistle and Rose where I have my eyelashes curled (permed) and I impulsively bought an eyelash growing serum there. I bought it thinking that if it didn't work, at least I gave it a try! I've read mixed reviews about eyelash growing serums all over the internet so I had a little urge to try it myself.

The serum comes in a small pen with a thin brush tip. All I had to do was brush a light layer of the product across my upper lash line each morning or night - Not both! I'm going to be completely honest and say I used it intermittently. Some weeks I'd use it every night before bed, other days I completely forgot or I wasn't staying at home.

I used the serum like this for around three months or so and it's only been in the last fortnight that I've noticed such a change in my eyelashes! The first time I noticed was when I was putting on mascara one morning before work. I would normally take the longest time to apply mascara, trying to make each lash even, keep lashes from sticking to each other and trying to make both eyes even too.

One particular morning I notcied that I didn't have to focus on any of those annoying things? My mascara glided on easily, my lashes were long after one swipe of mascara and they weren't clumping. I honestly thought someone has cast a spell on my trusty mascara wand overnight, sorcery!

Now when I looked at my natural lashes in the mirror, they appear a little thicker than usual and slightly longer. I have very light eyelashes so it was really difficult to tell the improvement until I actually put mascara on. I think if I had naturally darker lashes or tinted them regularly, I'd be able to see the results so much more clearly without mascara!

I'm sorry about the close up photos of my head, but just look at the lashes haha!

So what's the product called?

The only mascara serum I used is Li Lash, and I purchased it from the lovely Emma at her salon Thistle and Rose in Subiaco.
