Modern Muse Estee Lauder Review

I recently created content for Estée Lauders first perfume release for 13 years: Modern Muse Eau de Parfum.

I have been so excited for a new fragrance release after such a long time out of the market. If you've read my other beauty posts, you'll know that I already love everything Estée Lauder!

The Meaning Behind the Scent

To start with, I adore the meaning behind the fragrance: Be an inspiration. The scent aims to capture your the style, confidence and creativeness of women. Feminine and beautiful with Sparkling Jasmine, yet strong with sleek woody notes. The fragrance is uniquely multi-faced... who said you couldn't have a scent as dynamic as your personality and life? Women are strong and more complex than they believe they are, be resilient and own it.

"Who is a Modern Muse? She's confident and independent, soft and strong, feminine yet dynamic. Stylish and original, she inspires everyone she meets—without saying a word."

Notes:

The main notes are citrus, Jasmine, Honeysuckle Nectar and Patchouli. The second notes are Amber Wood, Soft Musk and Madagascar Vanilla.

Modern Muse isn't overpowering and is the perfect mix of feminine and masculine scents. I feel as though it has the perfect feminine edge without being too floral - something important to me as I absolutely can't stand anything too floral! It's definitely something I can see myself continuing to wear as an everyday scent.

I have been wearing it to the office a lot lately. I love that it's a slim bottle that I can fit in my bag and apply after the gym in the mornings. Bulky perfume bottles look gorgeous on my shelf but are too difficult for me to carry around, meaning that I use them significantly less than others.
